COVID-19 Policy (as at 16 January 2023)

I value the health and wellbeing of my patients, their families, and the broader community. Accordingly, we need to limit exposure risks at my practice based on the current official advice provided by the Australian Government and the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services.

In-office appointments are now available. It is preferred that you are fully COVID-19 vaccinated (except for those who are medically exempt). Masks are recommended, not mandatory. Telehealth sessions are available.

THE FOLLOWING APPLIES FOR IN-OFFICE CONSULTATIONS:

Please do not attend your appointment:

  • if you are unwell with cold/flu-like symptoms and/or

  • if you are awaiting results for a COVID-19 PCR test

  • if you are positive on a RAT (Rapid antigens test for COVID-19)

If any of the above apply to you, please contact me on 0413 704 335 to arrange a Telehealth appointment instead or to reschedule.

Please be aware that if you attend the practice with flu-like symptoms, I will reschedule your appointment to a later date.

Hygiene, Masks & Distancing (for in-office appointments):

  • Please wear a mask if you are a close contact (during the past 7 days) with a person who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

  • Wearing a protective mask is optional/recommended, not mandatory. If you are partially vaccinated or unvaccinated please wear a mask. Even when masks are no longer required , should you wish to wear a mask during your session, I respect your decision to do so.

  • Please maintain a distance of 1.5 metres between during appointments, in waiting areas and moving through the building. (Not applicable to members of the same household).

  • Hand sanitiser and soap will be provided.

  • Unfortunately there can be no hand-shaking.

  • I provide contactless fee payments and rebate processing.

  • There will be regular disinfecting of all commonly touched surfaces, such as door handles, and bathroom surfaces.

  • I ask you to practice the recommended coughing and sneezing etiquette.
